Open Day at the Pyrénissime Vélo Sport

Open Day at the Pyrénissime Vélo Sport

On Saturday 5 September, the Pyrénissime Vélo Sport club is organising an open day from 9am to 5pm in front of its premises located at 1, place de la Gare in Pierrefitte-Nestalas. This day will be an opportunity for those who know the club to register for the 2020-2021 season, it will also be an opportunity for those who want to own their own mountain bike to get a second-hand one, as the association sells second-hand mountain bikes in very good condition that are checked and verified by professionals, but also and above all for those who do not yet know the club to come and discover cycling sports, and in particular mountain biking.

Pyrénissime Vélo Sport is first and foremost a passion for mountain biking, and its mountain bike school with the FCC (Fédération Française de Cycliste) label welcomes young people from the age of 6 in the heart of the country of gaves to learn about mountain biking and the various facets of this sport in the heart of the surrounding mountains. On the program: cross-country, trial, downhill, orienteering… A complete program to become a complete rider. The young people are supervised by a state-qualified mountain bike instructor, approved for young people from 3 to 18 years old and helped by a few federally licensed volunteers. New this year will be the opening of a new section for toddlers from 3 to 5 years old on a small bike or draisienne. The new section should be a great hit with the youngest children because, regardless of age, cycling is a definite educational asset: from the notion of balance, to respecting the Highway Code, to managing physical effort and the spirit of mutual aid, it is a real tool for the development and growth of all children.

For this “open day” in compliance with the health instructions, the mask will be compulsory for adults and children over 11 years old and it is requested to bring your pen in order to register.
